National Asian Peace Officers Association (NAPOA) is pleased to announce our 23rd National Training Conference to be held on August 9-13, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Boston, MA. The Benevolent Asian Jade Society of New England (BAJS of New England) is our host for the 2010 Boston conference. BAJS of New England has also secured a great room rate of $135/night at the Hyatt Regency Boston for our group.
NAPOA recognizes the benefits of diversity in the workforce. Therefore, your organization is cordially invited to participate in this conference as a recruiter, vendor, or corporate sponsor. We are successful in attracting exhibitors and providing an excellent means to exhibit, interact, and advertise your products, services, or employment opportunities to a wide target audience of police officers, special agents, and chiefs of police. On August 9-11, 2010, our NAPOA exhibition will take place and we hope you will be an active participant of this exhibition.
At the same time, NAPOA will again host a three day Law Enforcement Job Fair, specifically for our law enforcement recruiters and open to the general public. We have sought out assistance from community organizations and the Asian media, to actively seek qualified law enforcement candidates from diverse backgrounds. We will also provide our law enforcement recruiters with meeting space so you may personally interview prospective candidates on the spot. Due to our advertising efforts with the Las Vegas area print and television media, more than 1,500 people came specifically to our job fair. For the 2010 conference, we have already planned on contacting the Boston area print and television media to advertise our job fair. We anticipate a greater turnout due to the numerous colleges and universities in the Boston metropolitan area. Exhibit tabletops include one 6’ table, two chairs, admission to most breakout sessions (law enforcement only and subject to available seating), two banquet tickets, and after-hours events. Exhibit space is available on a first-come first-serve basis so your early reservations with full payment will receive priority tabletop location assignments.
