National Asian Peace Officers Association (NAPOA) announces registration is now open for the Annual Training Conference schedule for August 10-14, 2009, at The Palms Hotel, 4321 West Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89103. We recognizes the benefits of cultural diversity in the workforce. Therefore, your organization is cordially invited to participate in this conference as a recruiter, vendor or corporate sponsor. The conference will provide you with an excellent means to exhibit and advertise your products or services. Exhibit floor will be open to the general public from Monday, August 10, 2009 to Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Community outreach through Asian media and community organizations will be performed to actively seek qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds. On Thursday, August 13, 2009, NAPOA will host a workshop or roundtable discussion (government personnel only, registration required) to develop ongoing strategies to manage cross-cultural issues. The workshop will place special emphasis on the recruitment and retention of Asian American candidates. NAPOA is committed to bridging the gap between Asian communities and government agencies.
EXHIBITOR SPACE: Prime exhibit booth space is being reserved for Sponsors. Other exhibit space will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Corporations, federal, state, and local agencies promote their employment opportunities as exhibitors. Exhibit space includes one table (approximately 2' X 6') and two chairs. Early reservations with full payment will get priority table location assignments.
Gold Sponsor ($5,000) - One Full Color Page (centerfold, inside front and back page) of advertisement in the Conference Program. One prime exhibit booth space at the Exhibit room. Recognition on the NAPOA website for one year as a conference sponsor. Ten tickets to the Awards Dinner Banquet. Signage and recognition at opening ceremony and throughout conference.
Silver Sponsor ($3,000) - One Full Color Page (location to be determined) of advertisement in the Conference Program. One prime exhibit booth space at the Exhibit Room. Recognition on the NAPOA website for one year as a conference sponsor. Five tickets to the Awards Dinner Banquet. Signage at Awards Banquet.
WHAT EXHIBITORS CAN EXPECT: Our conference attracts the attention of hundreds of Law Enforcement professionals in government throughout the United States. NAPOA has also reached out to university and college communities, Asian community organizations and the Asian community in general through press release with ethnic media. A recruitment workshop for governmental exhibitors wll be offered on Thursday.
ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES: Please take a few minutes to review the variety of marketing opportunities to promote your presence at the Conference. These range from highly visible coffee break sponsorships to lanyards, and/or conference bag sponsorships. We also accept raffle prizes as a form of sponsorship. Raffle / silent auction will be held during the Awards Banquet.
CONFERENCE PROGRAM BOOK: Advertisements in the official Conference Program will be accepted upon availability of publication space. Priority advertising space will be given to Sponsors. 8.5" X 11" color separated / black and white camera-ready artwork in PDF or Photoshop format must be received no later than July 15, 2009, accompanied with full payment or authorized purchase order/requisition. If typesetting, design, layout or paste-up is required, the cost will be charged to the advertiser. Email it to Journal@NAPOAonline.org.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation must be requested in writing and faxed to (415) 753-7705 or emailed to Exhibits@NAPOAOnline.org. Cancellation received by July 1, 2009 will receive the full refund less $200.00 fee. Cancellations received from July 1, 2009 to July 31, 2009 will receive 50% refund. No shows or cancellations received after July 31, 2009 will NOT receive a refund. All refunds will be mailed 4-6 weeks after the conference by check.
NAPOA reserves the right to decline, prohibit, or expel the exhibit which, in its judgement, is out of keeping with the character of the Conference, this reservation being all inclusive to persons, things, printed matter, product, conduct, sound level, etc.
